CONSIGNMENT

Consigning Policies/Guidelines  We strive to showcase gently used furniture, home decor, clothing, toys, hardware and a variety of other items at fair prices. To provide our customers the best selection of items, we cannot accept certain items. We reserve the right to reject any item.

Items that we accept:  Furniture including sofas, chairs, accent tables, dinette sets, buffets, dressers, armoires, headboards, desks, and bookcases. Décor including pottery, vases, wall art and many other decorative items. Clean clothing, working tools, china or dinnerware sets, some figurines, and some brass, copper, and silver items. Any other items that we deem appropriate. 

We will not accept:  Non-working electronics, computer equipment, printers. Clothing or furniture with defects, rips or tears, large spots or stains, smoke or pet odors, or fabric pilling. Any other items we deem inappropriate.
 

ITEMS MUST BE CLEAN! PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING:

Upholstered items must be thoroughly vacuumed. Please vacuum under cushions. 

Dresser drawers must be vacuumed and free of debris.  

Lamps must have lamp shades. Shades must be in good shape. 

Accent/throw rugs must be laundered. Persian or other high-end area rugs must be relatively free of stains. We will not accept rugs that have obvious signs of wear.

Framed art should be free of dust and the glass should be clean. 

Bringing in your items:  Consignment items may be dropped off Tuesday through Saturday.                                                                                                                                 

If you have large items (sofas, dinette sets, dressers, desks, etc.), we request a photo beforehand. You can either bring in a print of the item(s) or email us at a This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it with an attachment, or simply bring in your digital camera and show us the item on the viewer screen. You may bring items without showing us a picture, but we reserve the right to refuse any item upon arrival, so please be sure we will accept your merchandise before you load and bring large items.  For very large, heavy items, we may require you to schedule an exact drop-off appointment or provide your own load/unload labor.  Even with initial approval of a picture, we may refuse item upon delivery if inspection finds defects not obvious in picture.                                                                            

50-50 split, on all items priced below $50.  For items initially priced over $50:

• 70-30 split if item sells in two weeks (14 days) or less
• 60-40 split if item sells in three to six weeks (15 to 42 days)
• 50-50 split if item takes longer than six weeks to sell
• Ten week consignment period.  After ten weeks, pick up unsold item(s); OR
• Price of item(s) will be reduced 10% at the ten week point and an additional 10% every thirty days thereafter until item sells. 
• Checks are issued on the 15^th of each month for the prior months sales.  Pick up check at main desk in consignment area.  You may leave SASE if you wish your check to be mailed.
• First-time consignors must have items that total $25 or more
• We stop accepting merchandise one hour prior to closing
